Tim Giehll (tgiehll@eempact.com) brings more than 30 years of experience as a staffing industry veteran, technology visionary and manufacturing expert to his role as co-author of Human Capital Supply Chains. During the last 10 years, Tim has worked as CEO of www.BondTalent-US.com and www.eEmpACT.com, divisions of 500 person Bond International Software plc. He has worked with over 800 staffing and recruiting firms to automate their operations.
During the 1990’s, Giehll developed his understanding of complex software environments as CFO for world-renowned supercomputer designer Steve Chen during their $150-million technology venture with IBM and Sequent Computers. During the 1980’s, Tim worked as a manufacturing accounting manager with Control Data and its 45,000 employees. After meeting with productivity visionary Edward Deming in the early 1980’s, Tim was instrumental in launching Control Data’s world-class manufacturing initiatives, especially just-in-time inventory processes.
Married for 19 years, father of three daughters and living in the Minneapolis area, Giehll holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA in technology management.
Sara Moss (smoss@thecodeworksinc.com) is co-founder and CEO of The Code Works Inc., a technology consulting company focused on the staffing and recruiting industry. Sara and her team develop actionable technology strategies to enable their client’s business goals.
Sara is a recognized expert in staffing processes and technologies. Her articles and talks cover a broad range of topics including human capital procurement, candidate relationship management, job marketing, onboarding, staffing vendor management and staffing software trends.
Sara was first trained in Total Quality Management (TQM) principles and practices in the early 1990s. For the first decade of her career, Sara applied TQM concepts to telecommunications engineering processes for Global 1000 companies and witnessed the resulting benefits.
In Human Capital Supply Chains, Sara has translated her engineering experience to hiring and human capital management processes to help corporation’s dramatically improve their business performance.
